Aoraki Mount cook is one of our favourite places to shoot for its incredible expansive lanscapes, mountains, rivers and lack of tourists everywhere!
So when Jae and Patrick told us they were flying halfway around the world to visit New Zealand and have a pre wedding shoot adventure in Aoraki Mount Cook we were super excited!
In many other cultures, doing your couple photos before the wedding somewhere scenic, and then showing them at your wedding reception is the normal. This gives couples epic photos and a fun adventure experience and means they don't need to leave their guests on their actual wedding day - we love this idea and doing these pre-wedding shoots!
Jae and Patrick loved the blossoms, so timed their pre-wedding shoot with springtime(late November) when the lupins flowers were in bloom, but the mountains still had snow on them. We explored Aoraki Mount Cook before heading to lake Tekapo.
