Behind the camera

Jessie is amazing at capturing the real, raw, and in-between moments of your big day on a phone, in a way that feels instant and intimate.

We first met Jessie when she was coordinating weddings at one of our favourite Wellington venues. She was calm, organised, and clearly someone who got it. A little while later, we had the privilege of photographing her vow renewal (still one of our favourite shoots!). Since then, we’ve worked together more and more, and it’s been such a natural fit.

She’s got a creative eye, great style, and a serious love for weddings — just like us. With a background in wedding planning (both here and overseas), she knows how to read the room and capture moments without interrupting them.

Also: she’s a mum of three, which means she’s brilliant with kids, fast on her feet, and unfazed by chaos.

  • Will I get unedited footage from my content creator?

    Yes! You’ll receive a big batch of curated raw iPhone footage from the day — all the fun, in-between, and emotional moments we capture (minus the awkward or unusable stuff).

  • How is this different from a friend capturing content on the day?

    Working with a pro content creator is a totally different experience. They know how to shoot around your other professionals without getting in the way; They don’t ask you to repeat moments, and keep your guests fully present. It also helps your other vendors do their job better when everyone’s working in sync.

  • Will the content creator capture my vows, speeches, or professional audio?

    No. Content creation is intentionally lo-fi and doesn’t include professional audio or long-form recordings. It’s all about short, fun, nostalgic clips captured on iPhone . More like a curated home movie than a polished film.

    If you're after something more cinematic, with clean audio, thoughtful framing, and carefully crafted editing and colour grading -that’s where a professional videographer comes in. We work alongside some incredibly talented filmmakers and are always happy to recommend the right fit.
