Michaela + Tristan
When your flower girls are also toddlers, chaos is pretty much guaranteed – and that’s exactly what made Michaela and Tristan’s day so perfect. From snacks mid-ceremony to hide and seek in Michaela’s dress, a bubble gun “photo op” that turned into a full-blown face-blasting battle, and not a single child standing still during the vows (obviously), it was a beautiful mix of love and laughter.
Michaela and Tristan stayed calm, present, and completely trusting, letting the day unfold with all the noise and unpredictability that comes with little humans in the mix. And honestly? It was a total joy to capture.
The day was set against the dreamiest backdrop at @3llittlewords with moody storm clouds rolling over the Tararuas, flowing drinks, and Michaela in an absolutely stunning dress (yes, we’re still thinking about it). Shaun Preston set the perfect mood with his music, while @3littlewords delivered incredible food, wine, and a warm welcome that made everyone feel at home.
